Fun, You Really Do Need More Of It
Because when we have fun – we bring out the best in each other.
Let us clarify what we mean by fun. We are referring to those moments of play, enjoyment, laughter, excitement, amusement, exuberance, cheerfulness, or happiness.
Plato the Greek Philosopher stated, ‘You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation’. How can this be so?
When we engage in moments of play we often let our guard down, we lose our inhibitions and are in a state of flow. It is in these moments of play, fun or joy that we get to see the true authentic person. A moment of play is less about talking, and more about doing. Less about the shoulds and more about being in the present moment. Less about structure and more about freedom. Less about ambiguity and more about clarity.
